Selected Dairies was opened in 1938 in Winston Salem N.C. I bought these bottles along with other bottles at auction with almost all of the bottles being from the 1940's thru the 70's so presuming this one to be in same time frame.
It is about 8.5" tall and 4" around, made by Duraglas and 18 and 4 on bottom of bottle, as Winston Salem along bottom edge and a 48 which I believe to be the year though not sure.
Mayer and Sons is an Ashton Dairy Brand; I have 2 with the caps seen in picture. I took picture of one of them they are about the same.
The Jewel has some dirt inside though minor so may need some inside cleaning, it is more a smoke-colored bottle and why it looks darker.
No chips or cracks on any of the bottles.
