Vintage Cast Iron Nickel Plated Drink Coca-Cola Bottle Opener Starr X Brand, #20

$20.00

After researching and not being able to make out the patent number I am unsure of the year but as been used and worn so belief it to be in the 1950's or 60's maybe older.

First what I learned if web info was right these started to be made in 1929 though I saw some saying 1924, all openers made between either of those dates to 1971 will say Made in USA. Any that say made in West Germany are between 1971 and 2006, after that they are made in China.

Mine is hard to read from age but I can make out the Starr X brand name, the made in USA on back of opener. There is other writing on it which is hard to tell on front but should be Brown and patent # which is hard to make out but can tell it is there.

Also on back is the #20 which I am presuming is the model #

As described the opener is almost 50 years old or older, as been used and as lost some nickel plating in some areas. It is unique in the fact that top screw point is not flat like 99% of the ones I have seen it is angle with top so went into a machine or something besides a wall.
