I have seen some with edge and some with it, I belief the border wood should be with it from what I can tell. Has Chinese checkers on one side and checkers on other side.
I have no playing pieces just the board. Board has some use to it from playing I presume, a few of the holes for marbles have some edge wear.
The board is 17" x 17" x 1" I made box smaller to keep shipping cost down to what it should be.
