Vintage Porcelain/Ceramic Dolls, Victorian Lady in Pink/Peach Dress or Victorian Gentleman with Green Checkered Vest and Drum
I don't belief drum should be with the gentleman but that was way it was sold at auction. The Drum are cloth dolls made in Portugal character dolls and weren't made of ceramic/porcelain.
Auction said dolls were antiques but since I can find no date or another like it selling as is. They do seem old and made before Porcelain technique was perfected, they seem more thick ceramic with holes to attach arms and fabric. They had them dated before 1900's
I couldn't find any markings or marks to ID them.
They are in one piece though; one girl arm has slipped some the right arm. They have ceramic heads, arms, and Feet. The Ceramic or Porcelain is quite thick about 1/8" or so and head parts comes down to shoulder area and such.
They are about 15" long.
