The book is in fair shape with the inside still in good shape the cover and spine have some issues. The spine is basically gone if it wasn't for the book being so old it would ponder what happen to it. The book is over 100 years old and seems to be the first print of the book in 1917 and the 1929 version being close to 100 years old.
The 1929 version has some cover and spine wear with the bottom of spine and the first inside page is slightly torn. a few other pages have some scribble and saw one page that was missing small section of white only toward spine. It to me seems to have been stored in garage or such so shows more aging than if it was kept inside. This version is in better shape than the 1917 version, if it was a comic would grade it very good -.
The Night Before Christmas is from 1905, it is in fair condition, with spine having major issues and a few loose pages, but appears complete and readable if extra careful with it. I would not list if it wasn't that it is a first printing and extremely rare book. I have it in plastic bag to keep from being damaged before shipping to new owner.
I currently have the books in plastic bag to keep in current condition.
