Vintage Hardcover Book, The Fairy Tale Book with 250 Illustrations, 1917
I found info though no publication date inside book that these were made in 1917 and reprinted several times afterwards according to internet. Unsure if this is first copy or if they added reprint this one says nothing. It has mostly black and white illustrations with 8 illustrations being in color I took pictures of 2 you can see. I look thru didn't see any missing pages and some due to spine seem to stick out but not totally loose at moment. I couldn't find one for sale anywhere.
Issues I found with trying to keep book intact as much as possible.
First issues is the spine is in poor condition with the clothe starting to come apart and is loose. The front cover is starting to come loose from book as seen in picture 2.
Second issue it is showing age and musty smell from storage before I got it. With some pages getting dark spots and areas but still readable which you can see in last picture of back inside cover and page on left side as some of the spots. Most spots are on clear pages and still readable thru the book with a occasional spot affecting a letter or blank spot.
Book is large about 9 1/2" x 7 1/4". I am currently storing in plastic bag to keep in current condition and I decided to ship in more secure fashion then Media mail so it stays safe.
